The 2013 Australian FX- Superbike Championship was a case of welcome home for the European based Aussie Broc Parkes. In his first full season of Aussie Racing since 2200, the former National Champion showed why he is son revered around the world, beating the best the Formula Xtreme field had to offer, including reigning and multiple series champion, Yamaha Racing teammate Kevin Curtain. 2013 also saw Kawasaki’s Matt Walters emerge as a genuine title threat, and indeed it was Walters who won the one-off Australasian Superbike Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park and will wear number one plate in 2014.
