USS Missouri was the last Iowa-class ship to be ordered and commissioned in June 1944. In the Pacific, she was involved in the battle of Iwo Jima, Okinawa and the shelling of the main Japanese islands, earning her the name "Mighty Mo" and "Big Mo"...
